I´m a huge fan of subtle decorations and using elements from nature to decorate your surroundings. Something OTT (over the top) just doesn´t do it for me. Here are few pretty examples.

had a simple branch "tree" last year. this year am with husbands family in iceland. saw in 66 north last night the store simply done w/ branches hung with clear ornaments
